TAKE NOTE! Reminders for December 1st, 2023

GREETINGS!

We hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving and have been celebrating your recent concerts at Parker UMC and Bethany Lutheran!  BRAVO for your great performances and for getting a very substantial number of your family and friends to attend.  Additionally, thanks to the wonderful group who came and sang their hearts out with such joy and enthusiasm at Tagawa Gardens!

Just a few reminders today:

  1. If you would like to order CDs or DVDs of your performance(s), we need to have you place your order by this coming Sunday, December 3rd, as this will be the only opportunity to do so.  We’re doing everything we can to expedite your orders and mail via USPS so that you receive them in time for Christmas!

  1. Our thanks to SO many of you who have made donations to our organization through the CO Gives 365 website!  This coming Tuesday, December 5th, is officially Colorado Gives Day, so if you have not already done so, we hope you will consider supporting us and our mission to “provide significant and measurable health and wellness benefits of choral singing to mature adults”.

  1. Our Tech Department (aka Steve!) has been working diligently on our website this week!  Updates on all 3 of our Spring 2024 programs are available under the JOIN US - IN PERSON tabs and ALL CHORALE REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!  YOU are our best recruiters for new singers so please help us to grow by inviting YOUR "age eligible" family and friends to join us.  NOTE: prospective members are welcome to observe our first 2 rehearsals at any location without obligation.

Click here to register through our website

THANK YOU again for your very generous gifts and for your many touching cards and notes!

We wish you and yours a Happy & Healthy Holiday Season and a New Year filled with peace and joyful music!

SING ON!

Post Concert Note - posted 11.20.2023

TO ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL CHORALE SINGERS

OVER THE PAST 2 WEEKENDS YOU HAVE PERFORMED WITH AMAZING SPIRIT, CONFIDENCE AND HEART AND ALL WHO WITNESSED YOUR EFFORTS WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!  OUTSTANDING JOB!!  HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!

AND THANKS TO ALL OF OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS!!

2023.11.20 TAKE NOTE (to all active singers)! IMPORTANT POST CONCERT UPDATE FOR TAGAWA GARDENS PERFORMANCES (address corrected)

Dear Ones,

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for two fabulous weekends of music making! We also thank you for “getting out the vote!“ which resulted in marvelous attendance at Parker UMC, and absolutely fabulous attendance at Bethany Lutheran. You looked “lit up like Christmas trees” as you were singing, and the joy in the room was absolutely palpable for all three concerts. BRAVO, CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU!  And, of course, we also thank you for the incredibly generous “bonuses” that you showered upon us.

Now, an important message about our upcoming Tagawa Gardens performances. Their staff communicated with us late Saturday, so we were unable to give this information to the Highlands Ranch or Parker performers. Because the weather forecast is for a high of 26° this coming Saturday, they plan to host us inside the Garden Center. The performance should be fairly brief, in the neighborhood of 30 to 40 minutes, with much less talking on our parts. So, please plan to wear something comfortable, cool and festive because it can get quite warm (inside the greenhouse). On the off chance that they decide they can host us outside, please come dressed for either eventuality. And, since there will be no risers and Tagawa has a limited number of chairs to for use by our audiences, please bring your own stool or chair if needed, along with your own water, as always!

Please arrive by 10:45 AM. We will sing our concert program at 11:00 AM, then there will be a brief break, after which we will perform again at 12:00 Noon. The address is 7711 (corrected) South Parker Road which is on the southwest corner of Parker Road and Broncos Parkway (this intersection is south of Arapahoe Road and North of E470).

All of us wish you the happiest possible Thanksgiving, and please know how very, very, very grateful we are for all of you!

With love and gratitude,

Brian, Cindy, Chris & Bonnie

P.S.  We’d love to hear from you!  Won’t you please consider going to our website - 5280Chorales.org - to submit your thoughts and impressions about our fall semester under the COMMENTS tab!
