**  A SPECIAL SUMMER SINGING OPPORTUNITY!  **

 

Many of you have asked us about singing during the summertime, and we have listened!

   

To kick off our upcoming 10th ANNIVERSARY SEASON (2024-2025), and to express our appreciation for your EXTRAORDINARY FINANCIAL SUPPORT, WILLING VOLUNTEERISM and ENTHUSIASTIC PARTICIPATION, we are offering an “INTENSIVE” SUMMER SESSION! 

 

THE DETAILS…

 

WHO?

This special program is initially being offered to the 245 currently-Active (registered for this Spring 2024 semester) members of 5280+ Senior Chorales at Highlands Ranch, South Suburban and Parker.

 

WHAT?

A weeklong session of singing to include a new arrangement of “Another Op’nin’, Another Show,” a thrilling medley from “Les Miserable” (complete with staging & choralography), and a reprise of our very first encore piece, “You Make Me Feel So Young.” TENORS & BASSES, we need you for the ”revolution”!

 

WHEN & WHERE?  

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, August 5, 6 & 7 - Two-hour rehearsals each morning (10:00 am-Noon) 

and afternoon (1:00-3:00 pm) in the Southridge Rec Center Auditorium at Highlands Ranch

Friday, August 9 - Afternoon staging rehearsal at Parker United Methodist Church

Saturday, August 10 - Morning run-through rehearsal at Parker UMC with luncheon to follow

Sunday, August 11 - FREE 3:00 pm concert for family & friends at Parker UMC

HOW MUCH?

The program fee is just $25.00 per singer, to include Artistic Staff instruction (Brian, Cindy, Chris and Bonnie), our rehearsal space at Highlands Ranch, our rehearsal & performance space with A/V tech services at Parker UMC, your music scores, and a few other surprises to be announced!

IMPORTANT NOTES!  

• We will need a minimum of 50 singers and can accommodate a maximum of 100 singers.

• We will email a Commitment Survey to our currently-Active members on Saturday, March 9. 

       To allow for our preparation time, the required response deadline will be Saturday, March 16.   

• A formal registration/payment deadline date will be announced shortly thereafter, with full payment required by credit card at our secure 5280Chorales.org website (first-come, first-served!).

• Music scores will be distributed to registered participants prior to the end of this Spring semester. 

• Practice tracks will be provided well in advance on a date to be announced. 

• IMPORTANT:  ALL singers should plan to participate in the FULL program and will need to have their parts well-learned before the session; there will be no time for note-learning at rehearsals.
